Good Lord, they couldn’t have picked an uglier font. Didn’t anyone at Apple bother to check what it would look like on a PC before going live? That looks like the font that was used in MS DOS. The characters are so enormous that 90% of the titles are cut off. You have to hover your cusor over every title and wait for the pop-up to appear to read it. The titles of Japanese podcasts look better in the US directory.
And it’s #1 fatal flaw? Herro Flom Japan still isn’t listed. No wonder this podcasting thing hasn’t really taken off yet.
Oh, and 90% of the songs cost 150 yen, the other 10% are 200 yen. That was expected, really. CDs here go for between US $25-30.
And it looks like some of them are cut off horizontally, so they didnt bother to check multiple browsers at all.
Uninstall QuickTime and iTunes, then re-install iTunes. It’ll fix the font problem.
And they made a mistake in my billing! Still haven’t heard back from customer service. Too expensive, can’t shop the US store.
Rumor has it the price of songs in the US store will increase in the future because the record compaines want more money.
I wonder how I can shop BOTH the U.S. AND Japan stores? I live in Japan and have been able to use the U.S. store using my bank account back in the U.S…even though I emailed Apple iTunes customer service with this question…they gave me a very roundabout answer, basically saying, that I must use the store in the country where I reside….Uggh
