I’m turning into a workaholic hermit, it’s been 47 days since I last did anything social, and I finally got paid today. Anyone in Tokyo up for drinks tomorrow night (Friday)?
I wish I had something interesting or witty to say, but all I do these days is work, go home, tag base, then go to work again.
I know the feeling, I go to work at 7.00 am each day! anyone else feel their life is a cycle? I guess thats why I have a burning desire to get up and get out of the city every couple of months.
Heres a virtual pint for ya mate!
Would have taken up your kind offer, Rich San…only I left Tokyo yback for Okinawa yesterday…being from the hinterlands of outer island Okinawa, I was able to finally figure out how to get from here to there a little bit, although getting from Aoyama Itchoume on the Oedo Line to Shinjuku via Omotesando on the Hanzomon Line proved to be strangely tricky for us novice 欧米人s. Had a long lost Swede mate w/ me for the ride.
Did try one of the Toriyoshi establishments on Dogenzaka…got that idea from you…Thank you! Very good yakitori!!!
Rich, been waiting to catch up with you since I arrived in March. LOL. Alas, I’m back in the states for the holidays. Anyway, would love to grab a beer one day. Perhaps another day. Take it easy man.

So, how did it go? I’ve been waiting all week by the refresh button to find out! Let us know.
Or, if you’re into bad movies like me, check out Hula Girls. You seemed to enjoy some bad songs, and I’m sure you’ve got 1.5 hours to kill, so I figured you’d like this too.
Either way, have fun.
Hey Rich, guess it’s too late now …. i know what you mean though, my work week goes from Monday morning to Friday night with no real break … then come the weekend i do my personal webstuff and relax!

Chris: Sorry, I’ve been hibernating for the past week or so over vacation. That Friday night I went out with an internet friend who I’ve known for years but never met in person. We sat in a bar listening to the house band for over three hours, waiting for my friend to perform, but her set started at the exact time I had to leave to catch the last train home. And the fried chicken I ate there made me sick. I puked myself inside out and had the shits for a week. But the good news is that thanks to spending so many days sick in bed, I gave up smoking. Now all I have to do is to continue resisting the urge while I’m at work. I have to get used to not taking smoke breaks anymore.
